Giants' Tarot update
We are at 48 cards now, and they all look great. Even the ones that I didn't like so much when I first saw them, I'm getting to like. We have had to split them up onto five pages now.

One issue: The artist who was going to do Fenris the Great Wolf has dropped out. This card has to be done just right, very lifelike with a lot of detail. Raven wants to know if there are any wild fans of Fenris who are interested in sponsoring a pro artist of their choice (and Raven's OK) to do his card as a way of giving honor to the Great Wolf?

Description of the card: A great black Wolf, bound in a thin golden chain, lies in a shadowy cave, but he fills nearly the whole picture. A sword is thrust into the ground so that the bottom third is buried, and it is thrust through his top and bottom jaw; even with this, his jaws are agape and snarling as far as they can go with the sword through them. Two red streams of blood trickle from the sides of his mouth. His eyes are golden and utterly enraged. The card is dark and chilling, and should capture Fenris's wrath at being so bound.

Hello & Goodbye
I'm back from seeing Matthew Fox at the Rowe conference center. It was very amazing in a couple of way, even if his wild syncretism drives me nuts. I'd love to write all about it, but I've only got a day at home before heading out again, to Free Spirit Gathering in Maryland. We (Bella, Raven & I) are leaving Tuesday morning, and returning late Sunday night. There is no good way to reach us in case of an emergency, but I suppose one could try calling Camp Ramblewood in Darlington and seeing if the staff would track us down amongst hundreds of campers to deliver your message. So really, it would have to be earth-shatteringly important. Like our house burning down or something.

Bella & Raven will be leading the main ritual - very exciting - and I'll be getting my first tattoo - also very exciting.

In Asphodel Press type news, I've gotten five new Jotun Tarot cards from Abby Helasdottir. We are now up to 38 cards.
